WHY WE DO IT

As a result of a changing regulatory environment (Basel III/IV, Solvency 2/3) it has become prohibitively expensive for banks to finance activities in emerging/frontier markets countries.

Institutional investors (especially Pensionfunds) are required to use investment consultants, who unfortunately often have outdated investment views of the world.

In addition, long term risk-based capital and FDI, which are the engines for the private sector, will be even more difficult and expensive to source for many emerging/frontier markets countries.
